So it looks like we officially have 13 teams in the MLS in 2007 with the announcement (finally) of the new Toronto F.C. We now join England as the latest country to have teams from other countries in their league (since according to FIFA and no one else in the universe, Wales is actually a separate country from England). Yes, our neighbors from the North will not only bring excessive cold, but also hopefully awesome mullets.
Some questions: Do Canadians currently count as internationals, and will they for Toronto? I think it would make sense if at least for Toronto that Canadians really were considered America Juniors. Maybe just make them count like half an international. We could even unretire Geoff Aunger and bring Mark Watson out of Charleston obscurity. Vivé Alex Bunbury!!!!
