So the Battery are going to be the first team to face the US World Cup squad next week in Cary, NC, but who knows if defender Chris Brunt will make the trip. Brunt was arrested last night in a bar in Charleston. Reports go that he overheard a person make a disparaging remark about soccer players… so he did the only logical thing, he punched the guy. Brunt was arrested for assualt, but as far as I know, not battery.
