I guess sometimes that you do get to go home again. Alexi Lalas, the red-haired, fun-loving GM, has gone from GM’ing the Red Bulls to traveling cross country to take the same job for the LA Galaxy. Yes, I know most of you have already seen this news, but this is really just to show that I do keep up with the latest events.
In far less important info, doesn’t the short haired Lalas (not to be confused with the short-haired Pointer) bears a striking resemblance to Peter Krause of “Six Feet Under” and “SportsNight” fame. No real reason for this info, it just seems very odd. I miss the hairy, goateed Lalas… I’m not really a fan of the corporate Lalas. But who knows, he didn’t succeed in NY, so moving him to the other largest market makes a lot of sense.
